They should call it run, stop, jog, MEMORY, continue. stupid name.
If it possible to change the axis and handwheel the tool in a different direction while in RSJC mode? On the mill, I want to handwheel the cutter up in Z and then handwheel the bed/table out.
So, you have to remember all those settings and it has to be close to where it left off? I'm used to hurco's interrupt feature and am getting used to running haas for the first time. Can you index the turret? Do you have to index it back? How close do you have to be to where you left off? Sorry a lot of questions just a very helpful feature I don't want any surprises
pretty slick. anyone running HSM?
Would have been nice to show rotating turret to look at insert, then rotate back. Before showing turning spindle & coolant on. The memory part was cool that went back down to the cut.
Very useful videos,thank you guys!!!
Can I safely index the turret while in this mode?If so – do I have to index it back to initial tool after – let`s say – changing insert, or the controller performs it automatically (ST-40) ?
I am using this feature for at least 5 years already on FANUC milling machines, I was always wondering why Haas does not have that option to stop and JOG! We have Haas Super VF2
Also is this a new standard feature or an option?
Lets see a video for the mill now. That's a nice feature.
Find out how to “pause” a long operation while cutting a part, to get a closer look at an insert or maybe check surface finish: https://youtu.be/Msx3Kniv6tI. #Haas #MadeInAmerica #CNC
Thanks, please keep doing the videos.
