specific Material Types, such as Quick
Lessons, Evidence-Based Care Sheets, and Patient Handouts. Click a Full Text link to read a
Nutrition Reference Center topic. From the Detailed Record or HTML Full Text of a
topic, you can have Nutrition Reference Center
alert you via e-mail when the topic is updated. Simply click the E-mail Alert button and enter

like to be alerted and click Create Alert. No personal account is necessary to create topic
alerts. Nutrition Reference Center features landing
pages that allow you to search for content
related to Diseases, Skills, Food, Guidelines, Continuing Education, Patient Education, and
Reference Books, using the tabs above the

page for evidence-based information handouts
related to heart disease. On the result list, click a Full Text link to view
and print a Patient Education handout
customized with your patient’s information. Select the Print option to add patient-specific
information to the document. This features helps
provide consistent communication between healthcare providers and patients and enhances
the practitioner-patient relationship. The custom information you provide appears
near the top of the first page of the printed
document. Click the Help link at the top right of the
Nutrition Reference Center screen to view the
