Dude…. making the kids row for video games is BRILLIANT.
I Love your episodes in Youtube! Youre wooden clock is great! Thanks fore all the videos you make. 👍😁
This guy is my hero.
what a wonderful way to spend time with your kids Love the content you are a great youtuber keep up the good work!!!!
So far I have made a rock tumbler by transforming and rectifying a treadmill motor down to 12vdc and using the belt rollers in a cut down treadmill frame and it goes for weeks without problem..I have also built an 8in rock saw with A rectified 240vdc treadmill motor and v-belt reduction and am now building a 16in rock saw with a 3hp 240vdc speed controlled and rectified treadmill motor..Next on the list is a repower of my wood lathe..I just love these DC motors.. Please see my comment below.
Hi Jeremy..Please help..I have a 240vdc (AU) treadmill motor and have tried 2 ebay speed controllers on it through a bridge rectifier but both controllers don't work..On both even after I have dismantled them to check correct input and output terminal configs the motor just runs at full speed when the potentiometer is at the zero value.. both controllers are 4kw from memory..HEELP…
Sr you have a new fan
knew you were a good dad as soon as a saw that big ass tunnel going into the shed….
Genius way to get your kids to exercise.
So Jeremy; |t looks like the piece of low torque motor I got off of a bed designed to raise and lower the foot area, and the back rest area, is called a linear actuator. But I still do not know how to rewire it so that I may be able to use it in my can crushing idea,…. any suggestions?? thanks
First Glance I see a Wind Turbine. LOL
So lucky children!
I've replaced the control panel on my treadmill TWICE. Lots of screws there.
I was aware you had so many videos "recycling" and or adapting one item to make something else. I'm going to have to return to your channel a lot more often than just when yt sends an alert! You've got a lovely home and a beautiful family. Thanks for sharing and a special thank you for inviting us inside!!!
Great ideas! Especially for the children.
4:23 This is gonna make one crazy dildo machine
Magnificent…..re-purposing equipment is the way to go…..I did one treadmill….the motor of which is powering my 6" metal lathe…….thanks for the ideas….
Subbed! My kids would look like Hulk Hogan if I did that…pure genius!
Jeremy, would you think a treadmill would have adequate parts for a DIY standing desk? A salvaged actuator probably would not have the travel necessary – but the motors seem certainly powerful enough for ~ 50 lb-ft of work.
Awesome last name dude, inspirational stuff man.
The best way to teach kids of electricity!
Now everyone will be wanting these motors and it will make it hard to find them. Everyone will keep these and not throw them out now that you gave away the secret about these motors. I have 4 of them but was not telling anyone about them. Now that you have we many not get anymore.
smart guy, you have the future in yours's hand.
All my years growing up, my dad kept saying he was going to wire the tv to a human powered generator, you did it! And your kids are better for it.
What a great Dad ❤️. You seem to be a person who anyone can hang with and learn.
First video I see of you, very interesting and love your approach to reuse and adapt things to your liking. Keep it up!
* * * Kudos to you for your accurate, informative, work. Obviously much time and effort is required to create productions of the finest quality such as yours. Thank you sharing your knowledge and you are a fine gentleman ! Uncle Earl
I haven’t made one myself, but I have seen a rock Tumblr made out of an old treadmill.
This dude is the new MacGyver!!!
I love how you connected the TV to the generator and then turned it into a game! So cool.
You're one of a kind , I'm happy for you, you're smart guy with lovely children. Blessing to you and your family.
"If they are gonna be indoors playing video games they might as well be exercising"…(Lou Ferrigno) Good job man.
Ok thats pretty genius but have you ever made a speed boat from a bath tub and an old weed-eater? Ignacio Lavaplato Morales De Corbata built one with a pair of pliers and a ball pin hammer. It did an amazing 5 knots and made Boynton Beach from Havana in just under 6 days!
hello jeremy its nasa calling. would you mind coming by and giving us a hand with a project?
Exercise, play time and family time all in one. Pretty neat 😊👌👍👏
Careful with Dustin from "smarter every day". He recommends Jordan Peterson's(a proponent of IQ race science)books to his viewers.
I had to subscribe. Been watching for a while but you got me with the clocks and wooden gears. I missed that one apparently. Great stuff.
Awesome 👍👍👍 your on a whole different level than 90% of people keep the videos coming
Jeremy,Great invention! What is the voltage and amps on the treadmill motor?Thank you,
