I started walking in the Get Moving Challenge this year in January with a number of my colleagues. We all get together, every day, and try to figure out who can go on a walk. We go out of University Tower and go to Tower Boulevard then walk Pickett Road until it intersects with 751. I feel a little bit more refreshed. I feel like I’ve had a good opportunity for a healthy break from my work. And it’s proven to be both beneficial to me physically but also in my work every day. So we’re here today to do the DUSON strength class with a couple of the employees. We do pretty much a dynamic warm up with exercise bands. Then, we go into upper and lower body exercises with the bands as well as some ab work that will be done on the mats. It’s a great way to realize stress, take a break from work.
