Hi Mr. Stroud i am 54 yrs of age and i can drop down to one hand and do 2 push ups i used to be able to drop down on two fingers, its amazing what the body is capable of if one puts there mind to it, thanks for your videos Mr. Stroud there great and informative god bless you
lol…is easy for you to say…but the problem is motivation ..why?..Why one should do 50 pushups?..make no sense..Unless they have some goal like..ok…I get stronger and I defeat the bully..etc..Or…ok..now I'll look good if I do 50 pushups..Health..is not a motivator..being in shape is NOT a motivator..Unless someone or something gives you pain…that is the motivation!LOLWhen I look at my life there was no way for me to train in martial arts..I was very smart..top grades ..yes,a little short on size…till the bully came on.OUTSIDE pain…told me…everyday you'll give me your lunch money..wow…I saidSo the problem was he was taller..bigger muscles..That was the motivation for me…not HEALTH nore..BE IN SHAPE??Trust me.Nobody cares about health..or being in shape..UNLESS they are forced Is my humble opinion,sensei..

I can do 60 pushups with good form without breaking a sweat, 70 if I push myself.
Ten GOOD push ups. Do 10 SLOW and smooth and you won't need a high number. Quality reps keeps the ego from a false sense of accomplishment trying to rep out a high number at the cost of poor torso alignment. As for people who don't excercise, I am mystified at the cynicsim, the indifference, and the apathy people can have for their own bodies. Ecc.10 : 18 gets me no responses in Sunday school.
